Silence Is The Only Voice
By
Tom Stanley

Silence is the only voice,
Which echoes in the darkness,
And prevails in it venture,
To guide the hand of fate.
Silence is the only voice,
That has no choice,
It must be heard,
Must not be taken for granted.
Silence is the only voice,
A voice with enough power,
To say nothing, everything,
Conveying thought, meaning and intent.
Silence is the only voice,
Fighting its way out of the chenched throats,
Of the unheard, the unseen,
And the unknown.
Silence is the only voice,
That can convey a message,
So important,
That it must be respected.
Silence is the only voice,
Which says many things,
Yet you must learn to read between the lines,
Hear past words, understand past silence.
Silence is the only voice,
If you hear past words,
That stirs you, twists you, guides you, liberates you,
And resonates deep in your soul.
Silence is the only voice,
The only voice you will never hear,
Yet we listen intently for its wisdom,
Its clarity, its eternal patience.
Silence is the only voice,
Which echoes in the darkness,
And will be there to guide you,
Towards the light.
