Another Day In Paradise
By Tom Stanley

The pictures on the screen;
They fly by, never stopping,
Never changing;
Another shooting, a murder;
Just another day in paradise.

Everyday we hear the tale;
Watch the reports, the news,
It never changes,
Another bombing, the innocent die;
Just another day in paradise.

How much of this can we take?
The images come in flurries, they never stop,
Never change,
Another war, another war;
Just another day in paradise.
