I first saw this game when my cousin was playing it. It looked good, a little strange to the BoF
I had been playing, but why not? and that was the best gaming choice I ever made.
Graphics: 10/10
For SNES graphics this is supreme next to Bahamut Lagoon. Nice backgrounds awesome sprites, even the menu looks good! Spells are flashy, weapons look different when you equip new ones (man that red katana looks cool) and bosses are wicked looking. what more can
I say?
Sound: 10/10
After listening to the music in here for... 7 weeks now? lol I'd have to say they're all grand tunes. and all the other sound effects are great too, way above average.
Gameplay: 10/10
The storyline to this is unbelievable, someone who can work their minds around the fabrics of time did a really good job. You're the boy Chrono who's awakened by his mother and told to head off to the
Millennial fair. At the fair Chrono bumps into a strange girl Marle who then follows him around and to his friend Lucca's show, showing off her new invention. When Marle tries it out something goes wrong and she disappears. Chrono heads after her and so your adventure through time begins.
Basically like a lot of rpg's with the same party system, Skill system, item menu etc. Battle system has improved, most noticeably the double and triple techs. Time
trippin' is a fairly simple matter, simply head to the nearest time portal and then at the end of time go to your new one.
Replayability: 10/10.
With 13 different endings (2 with sub-slightly-different-endings) you can play this until the cows come home over and over.
Overall: 10/10 This deserves its spot on IGN top 100 games, hell I think its in the top 10 |
