After a year of Fire Emblem VII: Blazing Sword, a new Fire Emblem returns with slight modifications.
In fact this is one of the series faults, with eight games, somethng is lacking, and each game feels the same.
The game takes place in a faraway land, possibly the next continent, and war has obviously begun, with a rogue kingdom seeking the SACRED STONES. The player must guide an army of individual characters to victory, as usual.
There's actually not much to say about VIII, but thankfully items can be kept with the commander, instead of a merchant unit.
Regular gamers will grow to mildly dislke this game due to the fact that units become wormfood at being defeated in battle, and that weapons can break with periodical use.
8 out of 10 is all I can give since this is a complete game but is just another modded sequel. |
