This would have to be one of the best games made for the N64. Its fun to play alone, great to play with a group. You probably won't get bored with this for a long time.
Graphics 8/10
I liked the graphics for this game, it made good use of the N64 capabilities. I liked the effects of the gunfire as well as the enemy animations. The downside I found, which isn't bad really is, when you shoot the wall (really anything) so many times .. bullet holes start to disappear. Most things were somewhat smooth. I have no problems with the graphics other than the disappearing bullet holes.
Sound 8/10
The music and sound effects were pretty decent. It gave you that James Bond feel, with the classic 007 music. Nice sound effects for the different
weapons and explosions. So, I would say that the sound in the game isn't
too bad. Sounds great if you have a surround sound system set up.
Gameplay 10/10
I would give this game 3 stars for gameplay. You will spend hours playing, and trying to unlock secrets. You can play it in 3 initial modes. Depending on your level of gameplay, you will complete missions accordingly, the more difficult the setting, the more difficult the missions. You may have to complete extra objectives, and defeat stronger enemies with secret agent and 00 agent modes. The analog controller is used real well, its easy to handle. Also, with the ability to have 4 player multiplayer matches, adds to the fun. The more you progress through the storyline and unlock more things, will open new choices in multiplayer mode. It goes along pretty well with the movie.
Replayability 10/10
This is definitely a game you'll end up buying if you have a N64. Usually you'll never get bored of it. With the multiplayer mode, and various
unlockables it has provides you with much game time.
Overall Scoring: 9/10
Something to definitely take a look at. Especially, if you like first-person shooter games. |
