Welcome to the FF7 Full Strategy Guide!

I'm Catamaran, and if you want to spend the time reading the whole thing, you better sit your face on the screen,
as this game goes through the whole 3 disks. additions to this or whatever will be made later!

Chapter 1
Attack on Mako Reactor 1

Items:
Potions(X3)
Pheonix Down
Restore Materia

Monsters:
MP
Mono Drive
1st Ray
Guard Hound
Guard Scorpion

The guards at the station are easily overpowered as the mission gets quickly underway. Cloud exits the train and follows the rest of the team off the platform. Check the 2 downed guards for two Potions. As you head left through the door, two MPS attack.
This is one of the very few times Cloud fights alone, and the MPS aren't any different. Continue through the gate after wailing on them. Speak with everyone hanging around the gate, but don't speak with the one in the center until you've spoken to everyone. He should ask you your name, changing it from Ex-Soldier to Cloud, or a name of your choice. After you've picked your name, the Avalanche leader, Barret, should walk up. He shouts at you for a minute, and tells you to get through the gate. As you walk up, Cloud should look at the reactor, and run inside. In this small area, Guard Hounds lurk. Beware of their electrified hit, as it hurts cloud. When you head through the door, Barret should be standing there, and ask for his name. After you pick it, he will join your party, and you should talk to either Jesse or Biggs. They should stand by the door. It should open as you talk to them. One should rush by the other doors, And talk to them. It should open, reveling 2 paths. The right one leads to a dead end with a Potion chest in it. After that, head to the elevator. After continuing through, and talking to Jesse on a quick lesson using ladders, continue down the stairs and through the glowing door. It should lead to an edge, where you have to jump across. Leap it, and get on the ladders, and climb down. Leave Jesse without talking to her, and pass down. When you get down, you'll be on pipes. Continue downward, until you reach an odd place with a sparkling thing. Its a Save Point, as they are randomly around. Save your game, and continue onward. As you reach a end, there should be a Materia on the ground, the Restore Materia. PICK IT UP. Keep going until Barret comes out. Cloud should start with the bomb, and have a plot introducing freak out, and continue. A fight should instantly start, against a boss. This boss, which I would own, and take over the world, is the Guard Scorpion

Boss-
Guard Scorpion

This boss constantly ticks me off. It has some freaky patterns, which aren't very happy on your side.
The guard scorpion is a mechanical creature, which is weak against bolt. Have cloud pummel it with Bolt, as Barret attacks. If it lifts it tail, STOP ATTACKING! It will counter attack with Tail Laser, which is its most powerful attack. Wail on it until it perishes, and get ready to run.

Escape From Reactor One

Continue forward, until you find Jesse struggling. Talk to her to save her, and continue forward, until you reach the split where Wedge was standing, and it shows a pretty cool cut scene. Congrats! You've beat the first of the extremely long journey of FF7!

Chapter 2
The Aftermath

The team comes flying out of a backdoor of the reactor, which is contently located via flaming door.
After some talking, the group decides to head to the H.Q, Which is located up the stairs, and through the trash. There are some punks, and a girl in a pink dress. Talk to her, and buy a flower, for a cheap price of 5 Gil. Keep going until you hit a glowing blue potion past the fountain. Pick it up, as it is the only item there. Go down the screen, until soldiers stop you. You have the choice to fight, either way, they gang up on you, as you land on a train from a jump. It switches screens to Avalanche talking about him.

Back at H.Q

He flips through the door, and as usual, Barrets not impressed. Get around the train, talking to people. When your done, talk to Jesse, who will show you a virtual Midgar. The train stops, And you appear in the graveyard. Head left, to his a glowing place and a Save Point, Save here, talk to the guy to see an impressive tower, which shall be headed to later. Head left, and into the slums.

To start stuff up, head to the weapon shop, The 3 story building, and enter the first one.
Sell your bronze bangles and get good old iron ones. You should already have an Assault gun from the Guard Scorpion. Don't forget to equip that to Barret. Buy an extra Bangle if you have the money for it, and head out. If you need medical care, head up the stairs to the very top. There's a very light fee of 10 Gil to Rest there. Full Health. If you need some items, head down and enter the shop with the red sign. Plenty of items, and Purchase a Fire and Ice Materia. Head out and walk over to the bar.3 guys should go flying out and gunshots go off. When you head in, talking goes on, and you have an option, if you bought a flower, to give it to Marlene, Barrets daughter, or Tifa, a member of Avalanche, and the Bar Owner. It doesn't change much, but I gave it to Marlene. You should talk to everyone afterward, and head to the pinball Machine.

The H.Q.

Barret should have paid you wealthy, with a good sum of 1500 Gil. For the mission, really, but buy out the shops with whatever needed, Materia mainly. You should have gone through a flashback with Tifa before being down here, so if your here, your set to go. Talk to everyone, then Barret, who should be pummeling away at the punching bag. He should shout at you, and head up. Follow him, and he should say the next target, Sector 5 Reactor. When you have everything from the shops, to talking to the people, to everything in the bar, head back to the station after saving your game. When you get back on the train, the world becomes Anarchy.

The IDs you used earlier, are now detected, and your about to hit lockdown. Continue forward, in a rush, with seconds ticking off. Someone should run into you, stealing 10 Gil. Ignore it and keep running. When you reach the end, your friends should be standing there, most in disguises. Talk to everyone, as the time has stopped. You should jump of the train and land in a place with glowing green bars of doom. There should be a hole, and the team decides how to fit through it. They reach down there, and should be in a air vent looking hallway. Two ethers lay there, pick them up and continue onward. Enemies are all around, but not often. Head through the stairs, and down some more, until you reach a pretty big place. Head down the stairs, and over to the first set reached. Threes absolutely nothing here but ladders. Climb up one to reach a vent, with Jesse standing there. With Tifa on your team, this shouldn't be too hard. Talk to her, and continue south, to reach some stairs. Climb down some ladders, and get the Tent. SAVE YOUR GAME! I cannot stress this enough. SAVE! After that, head up through the glowing tunnel of doom to reach a familiar place. Well, most of these are built on the same blueprints, you just came in a different way. Don't climb up the stairs, and head though the door, continuing onward, until you reach the end place. Set the bomb, no longer timed, and rush out anyways. But now, cloud freaks again, and goes back in...time! Not some odd total plot twist thing, this is just an addition. It shows Tifa, seeming younger, standing over a body. She picks up a sword and charges into another room, as cloud stops the freak out. Back to the Future! This time take the elevator to find a different room. This room is the only different room now. There are 3 switches to the left. Your team gets to all of them and counts to three, without telling you. You have to press the switches at the same time, or it wont open. Go out, if you got it open, and get the potion if you already haven't. There SHOULD be a save point somewhere, so use it. SAVE!!!!

Boss-
Air Buster

This is my favorite mech boss, cause its stupid and easy. Wail on it, whenever possible, using limit breaks and whatnot. They hurt more in the back, so save until you hit him in the back, but the front works too. Its formidable, if it was a WHOLE lot brighter in the head. As I say, not the sharpest tool in the shed, eh? You get a titan bangle for winning the fight. When its over, a cut scene ensures, and cloud falls through a hole in the floor. Its a pretty big, wide open, just exploded hole, and he misses it. Genus. He plummets thousands of feet and dies. The end. Thanks for playing. Just kidding, as he lands through a church and blacks out.

The Flower Girl

Cloud awakes, to find himself in a patch of flowers. Flowers don't grow in Midgar, because they are under plates really. But sunlight shines here! Odd, yet as cloud awakes, a flower girl is there, stressing about you crushing her flowers. But wait. Haven't we seen her before? And if she wasn't speaking to us while we were knocked out, who was? It appears her name is Aeris, and she seems somewhat more then a character addition, but she's what you've got, since your friends are miles above you. A guy walks in after you chat with her and kind of stands there," Its ok, I'm just here to look" type of thing. It seems this guy is Reno, a Turk. And their after Aeris. RUN! Run into the shining door, to get to a crashed up room. Head through the stairs with Aeris, fight some fights, and whatnot. But then she falls. So, you have to save her. Whenever she gets cornered, have her "Wait" and run up the stairs. Do not push the barrel closest to the screen, EVER. Head back Northwest, to the barrel, behind you, and push it. When the MP dies, have her "Wait" again, and push the barrel farthest from the screen, and do the same thing, with the barrel to the right. She should get back up, and you should head upstairs, to the Rafter rafters. Head out to the roofs, and start jumping. You can keep up with Aeris, or skip ahead like me.

A small distance from the church is the Sector 5 Slums. You can only head north, into the city like area.
This is a more run down place then the sector 7 slums! With hobos, and other trashy people around, wander till you find what you need.
Note
There is a sleeping boy in a house here. He mentions money in a secret drawer in his dresser. 5 Gil.
DO NOT TAKE IT!
Its nothing to you, and may repay you in the future.

Aeris House

Before you go inside, head into the flowerful garden and retrieve the Ether and "Cover" Materia. Head inside to find Aeris Stepmother. She talks to you for a moment, and you head upstairs. Cloud drifts into sleep, and is haunted by this odd voice. When you wake back up, get the care package by the door, and find out Aeirs is not asleep. WALK outside and CREEP SLOWLY past her room and down stairs. Walk outside. Head out past town, and into the split where the guys were there. Aeris should be there! Guess she's on for the long haul back home! Don't go back to her house! Head into Sector 6.

Will have more soon!
