Ultimate Weapons
I don't count the Devil's Arms as ultimate, I count them as cheap.
Lloyd-He's the only character who actually has three really good weapons that classify as "ultimate" weapons.
Material Blades-Even though they consist of a fire sword and an
ice sword, these are NON-ELEMENTAL (I don't know why, I guess the fire and water cancel each other out or something) These have slightly less attack than the other two but these enable you to use Lloyd's ultimate move, Falcon's Crest, by pressing A+B+X when his HP is
below 15%. The AI will never use this tech so you have to manually use it.
Kusanagi Blades-Defeat the Sword Dancer first at the mine area in
Ossa Trail, then Gaorachia Forest, and finally Iselia Forest. He's pretty tough but try to beat him as soon as you can because the
first two disappear after a certain point in the game. (The
third one will always be there though) These have the highest slash of all
Lloyd's weapons.
Valkyrie Sabers-Win the advanced single arena match in Meltokio with Lloyd. These have the highest thrust of all Lloyd's weapons.
Zelos/Kratos-Last Fencer-Win the single arena match in Meltokio a few times with Zelos (difficulty doesn't matter). After the third event
with Seles, win the advanced single arena match and Seles will appear to challenge you. Defeat her to get the Last Fencer. If you keep
Kratos instead of Zelos then you have to beat her before the doctor event in
Flanoir.
Genis-One World-Win the Red Light, Green Light mini-game on the Tethe'alla Bridge.
Colette/Raine/Sheena-You can get all their ultimate weapons by winning the advanced single arena tournament in
Meltokio.
Presea and Regal coming soon! (As soon as I remember...)
NOTE-All weapons acquired in the Meltokio arena, you must have been
through the final door, before the teleporter in the final dungeon and seen the event there,
or else you won't get the weapons upon winning the tournament!
