Chapter 4:
Escape Before...
Sirclois woke up in a very poor kept prison cell. He slowly
got up and walked to the door, looking around he seemed to be on the second
floor. Opposite of his cell was more cells. In two of the cells across from him
was Shanon and Rose.
There seemed to be two bounty hunters on each row of cells. While Sirclois
was looking around a bounty hunter walked up and yelled at him.
"Hey, stay away from the door! Don't get any funny ideas or I will fill you
full of lead," The bounty hunter said, showing Sirclois his Nico R2.
Sirclois laid down on his bed and tried to think of something. He knew that
they would be executed sooner or later, most likely sooner. He punched the wall,
angry that he had fell for the trap.
"Hey, Jack, what are you trying to do? Smash your way out or something?"
Sirclois heard someone say from the cell next to him, it sounded like Billy.
"Billy, is that you?" Sirclois said putting his ear on the wall.
"Well duh. Who else do you think would be stuck in this hell hole in a cell
next to you?" Billy responded.
"Have you seen any way we might be able to escape from this hell?" Sirclois
said in a low voice, looking at the door to see if a bounty hunter was
listening.
"Glad you asked. You see their leader is gonna come and do us in himself. So
around that time they will gather us up to take us to the execution room. I
think we might be able to jump the bounty hunters when they come for us, then
bust the hell out of this hell," Billy said proud of himself that he had thought
of an idea.
"Not to shabby, so how long before they come?" Sirclois asked watching the
door.
"Any minute actually, I'm glad you woke up or my plan might not have worked,"
Billy said with a laugh.
Since Sirclois heard nothing else, he figured Billy went to wait near the
door, so Sirclois did the same. After about five minutes, the bounty hunters on
patrol each went to one of the cells. Sirclois heard a noise like someone was
hit on the back of the head, meanwhile a bounty hunter had opened Sirclois' door
and was coming in for him.
"Don't move or I will blow your head off!" Billy said standing behind the
bounty hunter pointing a Nico R2 at his head.
Sirclois punched the bounty hunter in the face, took his gun and smiled at
Billy as he walked past him. They went to the end of the cells to find some
stairs leading down.
Billy and Sirclois slowly stepped down the stairs, across the room and up
another flight of stairs to Rose and Shannon's cells.
They heard footsteps and got ready to jump whoever it was. Two people with
Nico R2s stepped around the corner.
"About time you two got here we were gonna bust out without y'all," Shannon
said joking.
"Guess that means we better look for a way out now, anyone know anything
about this place?" Sirclois asked looking to see if any bounty hunters were
coming.
"Well actually, I heard about these people who escaped from this place once.
If we go down the stairs and right there's some sort of sewage system, if we go
down the stairs and to the left we go through the mess hall and eventually the
shower room. Then there's a door not far from there that also leads to the
sewage. In anycase the only way out is the sewage system," Billy said, slowly
stepping down the stairs.
They all slowly stepped down the stairs. At the bottom, Billy peeked around
the corner to see if there were any bounty hunters to the right. Of course there
were about three of them standing behind some huge crates in the middle of the
room talking.
"Well that's bad, if we cause to much racket they're gonna send a whole bunch
of bounty hunters in here after us... Let's see if there's anyone in the mess
hall," Sirclois said, sneaking over to the hallway that lead to the mess hall.
When they got there, they found about five bounty hunters sitting around eating.
"Great... no way where gonna make it through here unnoticed," Billy said
looking around the mess hall. Sirclois looked back at the hallway they had come
through when he heard footsteps.
"Oh no, the three we saw talking are coming this way. We better do something
quick," Sirclois said trying to think of something. He ran to the corner of the
hallway and waited.
"What are you doing Jack?" Billy whispered. He got up against the wall when
Sirclois gestured for them to.
SMACK!!! Sirclois hit the first bounty hunter that walked past right in the
head, the other two ran to see what happened.
"What the hell?" One of the two said before Sirclois grabbed him and pointed
his gun at his head.
"You make any noise, or even move, and I will blow your friends head off. Got
it?" Sirclois said to keep the bounty hunter distracted while he watched Billy
sneak up and hit him on the head.
Sirclois just pushed the bounty hunter away from him, then hit his head to
knock him out.
"Well I guess we can go the other way now," Sirclois said walking down the
hallway slowly. They soon made it to the sewage system, it stank worse than they
could have imagined in there.
"Oh my God, it stinks in here! Is this the only way out?" Shannon asked
holding her nose.
"Yeah. Unless you wanna ask those bounty hunters if they will give you a ride
to the exit before their leader comes and executes you," Billy said laughing.
They had been walking down the sewage system for about ten or twenty minutes
when they heard feet splashing behind them. Sirclois turned around to see a man
running behind them. He had a dagger but didn't seem to be attacking. He seemed
to be fleeing from something.
"Run if you all want to live!" The man yelled as he ran past them. Sirclois
looked at what he was running from to see eight bounty hunters with Nico R2's
coming.
"Oh no.... You all run, I'll distract them, go!" Sirclois yelled as he got
down on one knee and aimed his Nico R2 at the bounty hunters.
"Yeah, like you get to have all the fun. Rose, you take Shannon and get outta
here. Me and Jack will hold them off," Billy said as he got down on one knee and
aimed at the bounty hunters also.
"Don't die you two," Rose said as she turned and ran along with Shannon the
way that man had ran.
As the bounty hunters got close enough Sirclois and Billy fired. Three bounty
hunters in the front went down from head shots. Two of the rest though stopped,
got down on one knee and returned fire.
"Damn. Billy, cover me. I'm going for that one bounty hunter's sword he has
on his side," Sirclois said as he rolled, fired and killed a bounty hunter that
had a sword on his side.
Sirclois pulled the sword out, dashed up to another bounty hunter and slashed
him. He shot back but Sirclois blocked his bullets and slashed him again,
killing him.
Meanwhile, Billy was shooting at the bounty hunters who were kneeling down,
shooting at the dashing Sirclois. Billy hit one and killed him, then turned and
shot one that was trying to sneak up behind him.
Sirclois dashed up to the last bounty hunter, blocking his bullets and
slashed him right in the head, killing him. He took the sheath of the bounty
hunter who he had stolen the sword from and put it around his own waist. He
sheathed his new sword and picked up a Nico R2.
"We better hurry, no telling whether that guy who ran by was good or bad,"
Sirclois said to Billy as he ran past him.
Meanwhile, Rose and Shannon had finally found the way out of the sewage
system and were in some garden when they where surrounded by four bounty
hunters.
