Chapter 3:
Cave Trap
After they had rested up and their wounds were
healed they got themselves ready and set out for the cave of death, not knowing
it was a trap.
"Y'all don't find it a little odd that Darkness told us where to go exactly?"
BIlly said, thinking about it all.
"Thats a good point, but theres little to do about it since it's our only
lead," Sirclois said with a shrug.
"You know, there's something I found a little odd Jack. When I first met you,
Demon called you Sirclois. Then, when you were fighting Darkness he called you
it too. Now if I remember the legend right, Sirclois Hamdrin was one of the most
powerful people in this virtual world, but I hear he lost his mind from all the
power, he killed his entire clan and then disappeared... you got anything to say
about this?" Billy said staring at Sirclois.
"Well, if you must know, everyone thinks I am him because I am his brother.
We where almost twins, but I didn't enter this place until I found out he had
been framed and disappeared. My real name is Jack Hamdrin, there you have it,"
Sirclois said telling perfect lies.
"Oh, I had no idea.... Hey wait, did you say framed?!" Billy said, surpised
at this since Sirclois was like his idol and had been very hurt at the fact that
he lost his mind like that.
"Yeah. Some of my sources say that a rival clan found out where he was going
and ambushed them, then made it look like he did it so that none of his many
allied clans would come after them," Sirclois said looking down, remembering
that horrible day. The gun shots... the explosions... the screams.... A tear
dropped from his eye as he remembered all his clan members lying there, dead. He
quickly brushed the tear away and walked faster.
"Wow, look at that," Shanon said as she pointed to the huge mountain that
loomed in front of them. It had a huge entrance at the front of it and it looked
very dark inside it.
"Now, listen up. If it goes bad in there, you are all to leave at once. No
buts about it, if it gets ugly y'all flee that instant. Got it?" Sirclois said
very seriously.
Billy, Shanon and Rose just nodded their heads. They didn't want to say yes,
but they knew there would be problems if they said no. After they got inside,
they found it was quite lit up in there. They searched for a while, then they
found Demon, Darkness and Death along with three bounty hunters waiting in a
huge room.
"Ah, you have arrived for your deaths, this should be fun. Which one of you
wants to die first?" Death said mocking them.
"I will take Demon. Me and him have a score to settle," Billy said getting
his gun out.
"I will take Darkness. I owe him a few slashes," Shanon said looking at her
healed wounds then getting her sword out.
"I guess I will take the three bounty hunters down," Rose said getting her
gun out.
"That leaves just me and you Death. You are gonna tell me where your boss
is... or die screaming," Sirclois said as he got his sword out.
For a moment, all was still, then everything exploded into the sound of
gunfire and swords hitting each other.
Rose shot one of the bounty hunters in the head as she dodged bullets, then
ran up and shot another one's knees out. As she jumped back, she had failed to
notice the bounty hunter following her. He snuck up and hit her on the back of
the head, knocking her out cold, and tied her up.
Billy ran along shooting at Demon while dodging his bullets. As Billy ran, he
had an idea. He hid behind some rocks and waited. Demon jumped out ready to kill
Billy, but that was what he had wanted. Billy quickly rammed Demon and had his
gun pointed at Demon's head, but Demon was sneaky, he spun around kicking
Billy's feet out from under him and making Billy land head first on the ground.
Demon then tied him up and put him over with Rose.
Shanon dashed at Darkness and slashed at him but he blocked it and pushed her
away. He swung his sword around at her but she dashed out of the way and dashed
back at him and slashed his arm in a blind rage. He swung the hilt of his sword
around and slammed it into her head, knocking her out also. He then tied her up
and put her with Rose and Billy.
Sirclois blocked Death's rain of bullets, dashed up and tried to slash him
but Death jumped away and continued shooting. Sirclois got an idea and started
just dashing around. Death finally ran out of ammo and Sirclois was going in for
the kill when Demon popped out and blocked his path.
"I wouldn't do that, or your friends will die," Demon said with a demonic
laugh.
Sirclois looked and saw the last bounty hunter and Darkness standing next to
Billy, Shanon and Rose who were tied up and unconcious.
"Put down your weapon and surrender and they might live. Do anything else and
they will die along with you," Demon said with another demonic laugh.
Sirclois thought for a moment. He knew there was nothing he could do. They
had taken the bait and were now trapped. He took out his sword and got his guns
out. He tossed them over to Demon. Demon walked up and hit him on the back of
the head before everything went black he heard Demon's demonic laughing.
After Sirclois was tied up, they where tossed into the back of a truck and
taken to a prison that Death's leader owned. Once there, they would be executed
by Death's leader himself.
